Bookkeeping: common questions
Can Crewhand replace QuickBooks?
For many small service companies, yes: the Pro plan covers the books most of them need. Keep QuickBooks if you need multiple entities, inventory costing, or your accountant requires it.
Does it connect to my bank?
On Pro, a bank feed brings in transactions and matches them to jobs, bills and expenses, with rules for the ones that repeat. You can also import a bank CSV.
Does it file my taxes?
No. It prepares sales tax reports and 1099 and W-2 forms and packs everything up for your accountant; filing is done by you or your accountant.
Which Crewhand plans include bookkeeping?
Expenses, bills and receipts are on every plan. The full books, bank feed, reconciliation and year-end tools are on Pro.
