What is Crewhand?
Crewhand is field service management software for small and growing service companies. It puts leads, quotes, scheduling and dispatch, invoices and online payments, crew timesheets, payroll, mileage, job photos and bookkeeping in one app that works in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer. It comes set up for 28 trades, from pressure washing and lawn care to HVAC, plumbing and cleaning.
How much does Crewhand cost?
Crewhand costs Starter $49/month (up to 2 users), Team $129/month (3–5 users) and Pro $229/month (6–15 users). Enterprise (16+ users) is priced by quote. Paying yearly gets two months free. Every user on your plan is included, with no per-user fee, and every plan starts with a 14-day free trial.
What's the best app for a small pressure washing company?
It depends on what you need, but a small pressure washing company usually wants fast quotes by the square foot, packages and annual plans, before-and-after photos, online payments and simple crew scheduling. Crewhand does all of that, starts at $49/month with every user on the plan included, and was built inside a working pressure-washing company. It also has a Bid Calculator for traditional and drone-assisted exterior cleaning (Team and Pro plans). Jobber and Housecall Pro are popular general options too; see how they compare.
What's a good Jobber alternative for a small crew?
Crewhand is a Jobber alternative built for crews of two to fifteen. Its Team plan is $129/month for up to 5 users, against $199/month for Jobber Connect with 5 users (monthly billing, Jobber's pricing page, October 2026), and the Pro plan adds payroll and bookkeeping in the same app. Jobber is a strong choice if you live in QuickBooks Online or work alone. Full comparison.
Is there field service software with payroll built in?
Yes. Crewhand's Pro plan runs payroll for employees and contractors from the hours your crew clocks on each job, after you approve the timesheets, with overtime worked out for you. Direct deposit and tax filing are handled by the payroll provider underneath, whose fees are billed at its standard rates. Many field service apps connect to a separate payroll service instead.
Can Crewhand replace QuickBooks?
For many small service companies, yes. Crewhand's Pro plan includes the books: a chart of accounts, a bank feed that matches transactions to jobs, reconciliation, sales tax, fixed assets, year-end close and exports for your accountant, and it can import your QuickBooks data to get started. If you need advanced accounting such as multiple entities or inventory costing, or your accountant requires QuickBooks, keep QuickBooks.
What trades does Crewhand work for?
Crewhand comes set up for appliance repair, carpet cleaning, chimney sweep, cleaning and janitorial, concrete and hardscape, electrical, fencing, flooring, garage door, gutters, HVAC, handyman, holiday lighting, irrigation and sprinklers, junk removal, lawn care and landscaping, mobile auto detailing, moving, painting, pest control, plumbing, pool service, pressure washing, roofing, snow removal, solar panel cleaning, tree service and window cleaning, plus a general starting point for anything else. Picking a trade loads its services, packages, estimators, site-visit questions and photo list, all editable. See every trade.
Can my customers pay online?
Yes. Every invoice can carry a pay-online link for card payments through Stripe, customers can keep a card on file for automatic payment, and overdue reminders go out on their own. Crewhand keeps 1% of each online payment on top of Stripe's standard processing fee; there's no fee on cash or checks.
Does Crewhand work on a phone?
Yes. Crewhand runs in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer. The crew gets a simple day view with their jobs, directions, notes, photos and clock in and out; the office gets the full app.
Can Crewhand send quotes and invoices in Spanish?
Yes. Mark a customer as Spanish-speaking and their quotes, invoices, emails, texts and customer pages go out in Spanish. Crew members can also switch their own day screens to Spanish.
How long does it take to set up?
You can send your first quote the day you sign up. Pick your trade at sign-up and Crewhand loads services, prices to edit, packages and checklists; add your logo and your crew and you're running. Everything it loads is a starting point you can change.
Do I pay for each user?
No. The plan price covers everyone up to the plan's limit: 2 users on Starter, up to 5 on Team and up to 15 on Pro. Crew members, office staff and dispatchers all count the same. There is no extra charge per user inside those limits.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every account starts with a 14-day free trial of the full product (everything in Pro), and you don't need a credit card to start. Pick a plan when you're ready.
How much do I save by paying yearly?
Yearly billing is two months free: Starter is $490/year, Team $1,290/year and Pro $2,290/year.
